Trustee James T. Jefferson is a 20+ year resident of the Village of Dolton and has been a Dolton Trustee from 1997 through the present. Trustee Jefferson attended Washburn Trade School and Illinois State Police Academy. He is a former manager of Jackie Robinson Little League as well as a father of 6, grandfather of 11 and married to Larceda Jefferson.

Trustee Jefferson currently sits on the following Village of Dolton Committees:

• Chairperson of Dolton Finance Committee
• Chairperson of Dolton Housing Authority
• Co-Chairperson of the Dolton Housing & Real Estate Committee
• Co-Chairperson of the Public Safety & Fire Committee

• Co-Chairperson of the Public Works Committee
