Economic Development

The Village of Dolton offers a number of attractive incentives to help create a healthy business environment. New, as well as established businesses reap the benefits of the Village's economic development program. Our Village economic development programs include Community Development Block Grants, the City's State-certified Enterprise Zone, Tax Increment Financing, job training and other economic development incentives. For more than 100 years, Dolton has encouraged development and expansion of commercial and industrial enterprises.

Mayor Ronnie C. Lewis, on behalf of the residents, businesses, and Dolton community, is committed to an economic environment that fosters business growth.  We seek, welcome, and appreciate our business and industrial citizens. We understand the needs of business and will tailor a package of economic incentives to assist with their development and expansion in Dolton.

Our business community serves not only those who reside in Dolton, but also hundreds of thousands who reside in the surrounding region.
